Title: Research and
findings
The research continues on how to develop the website. The main
function of the website is to display the information from the database. There
are many ways of creating a website. One of them is by using HTML and CSS in
Notepad++. HTML is HyperText Markup Language and it is the main markup language
for creating websites. HTML elements form the building blocks of all websites.
HTML allows images and objects to be embedded and can be used to create
interactive forms. It provides a means to create structured documents by
denoting structural semantics for text such as headings, paragraphs, lists,
links, quotes and other items. CSS is Cascading
Style Sheets and a style sheet language used for describing the look and
formatting of a document written in a markup language. CSS is designed
primarily to enable the separation of document content from document
presentation, including elements such as the layout, colors, and fonts. Notepad++ is a text editor and source
code editor for Windows. It aims to be a lightweight and robust editor for a
variety of programming and scripting languages. It is also a free software that
can be downloaded by anyone. HTML and CSS code can be written in Notepad++.
